Our new Home Base is the Warkworth Information Centre at 1 Baxter Street, Warkworth. It’s a bit smaller than our previous base so make sure you get there on time for check in.
Important!
Report for your walk at the Warkworth Information Centre no later than notified time. It is easy to find at 1 Baxter Street, next to the library. Public toilets are right next door.
The bus schedules are tight so unfortunately we cannot wait for late arrivers.
Approximate walk duration times quoted are from Warkworth to Warkworth.
Coffee and snacks are available at many of the nearby cafes – just ask one of our volunteers if you are unsure of where to go. Also, remember to take your wallet so that you can purchase a drink at the end of some of our walks.
Parking
There is plenty of free all day parking outside the New Masonic Hall (upstairs and opposite New World – follow the P sign off Neville Street) and also next to the Old Masonic hall (Baxter Street).
There is also free, unlimited-time parking on the nearby side streets (see map below) a few minutes away from our home base at the Warkworth Information Centre. These free parking areas are shaded yellow on the map.
